Kirkcaldy Foodbank to hold 2026 AGM

Raith Rovers players Dylan Easton and Lewis Stevenson will be among the special guests at Kirkcaldy Foodbank’s annual general meeting later this month.

The AGM is open to the public and will be held at Pathhead Parish Church, Church Street, Kirkcaldy, on Wednesday, April 15, at 7pm.

The meeting will include a report by new chair Norah Smith on the foodbank’s activities in 2025, consideration of the annual accounts and the election/re-election of the charity’s trustees.

There will also be an opportunity for questions and comments.

After the formal business, the Raith stars – along with Darren Forbes from the Shambolics and Ann Oliver from Innes Johnston Solicitors - will take part in a conversation about their support of the foodbank.

Rovers are long-time supporters of the foodbank, holding regular collections of food, toiletries and cash ahead of games at Stark’s Park.

Kirkcaldy Foodbank handed out more than 12,500 food parcels last year, an average of almost 245 per week. That represented a drop of 18.5% on the figures for 2024.

Over the year, 2133 adults and 971 children received food at least once, meaning more than 30% of the people helped were children.
